We are proud to announce that Flow With Pride Impact Hub has been approved to host an official in-person Side Event at the 2026 United Nations Water Conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Our proposed Side Event, titled:
“No Water, No Dignity: Menstrual Health, WASH, and the Girls Africa Is Leaving Behind”
has been approved by the 2026 UN Water Conference Secretariat and will take place within the UN-accredited Blue Zone of the Conference venue.
The open call for Side Events received over 610 applications from organisations around the world, making this approval a significant milestone for our organisation and our partners.
The Side Event will be convened in partnership with:
🇳🇬 Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Nigeria
🇱🇷 National Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Commission, Liberia
Together, we will bring an African perspective to the global conversation on water, sanitation, menstrual health and dignity, with particular attention to the girls and women whose ability to participate fully in society is affected by inadequate access to water, sanitation and menstrual health services.
For Flow With Pride Impact Hub, this is more than an invitation to attend a global conference.
We have been entrusted with a platform to convene a conversation.
We are deeply grateful to our partners in Nigeria and Liberia for believing in this vision and joining us in taking this conversation to the global water agenda.
The work now begins.
More details on the programme, speakers and participation will be announced in due course.
Abu Dhabi. We are coming.
