How we protect student data
Most of our members are children. We collect as little as we need and keep it private.
What we collect
About students: name, gender, date of birth, class, state of origin, hometown or LGA, role in the club, and the date they joined. We do not collect students’ phone numbers, home addresses or photos through the registration form.
About schools: the school’s name and address, the principal’s name, and the teacher coordinator’s name, phone number and email.
Consent
Schools confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed before registering each student.
Who can see it
- The public sees each school’s name, area, club president, other club executives, member count, and the teacher coordinator’s name and phone number.
- The school’s coordinator sees the full list of their own school’s members.
- The programme team at the Flow with Pride Health and Empowerment Foundation sees all records, to plan activities and report on the programme.
We do not sell or share student information with advertisers.
Why we keep it
To know how many students the programme reaches, where they come from, and which age groups to design activities for. Reports we publish use totals, never individual names.
Photos
We only publish photos that the school has cleared for use. To ask for a photo to be removed, contact us.
Your rights
A parent, guardian or student can ask us to correct or delete a record at any time. Email info@menstrualhealthsociety.org or speak to the school’s teacher coordinator. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
